The Horiba Fluorolog measures fluorescence emitted in the ultraviolet, visible, and infrared regions to create a 3-D cube of data characterizing an object, including photoluminescence, excitation wavelength, and emission wavelength.
Applications:
- front-face port and fiber optic connections permit in situ non-invasive analysis of opaque and solid samples
- three-dimensionality permits detailed characterization of closely similar organic colorants
- identification of natural and synthetic dyes and analysis of their deterioration
