MARGARET MACMILLAN is the Warden of St. Antony’s College and a Professor of International History at the University of Oxford and a Professor of History at the University of Toronto. Dr. MacMillan was formerly Provost of Trinity College within the University of Toronto. Her books include "Women of the Raj: The Mothers, Wives, and Daughters of the British Empire in India" (1988, 2007); "Paris 1919: Six Months that Changed the World" (2002); "Nixon and Mao: The Week That Changed the World" (2007) and "Dangerous Games: The Uses and Abuses of History" (2009). Her honors include the Duff Cooper Prize for "Peacemakers" (published later as Paris 1919) for outstanding literary work in history; the Hessell-Tiltman Prize for History; the Samuel Johnson Prize for the best work of non-fiction published in the UK; and the 2003 Governor General’s Literary Award in Canada.
