Author Biography

Heloise

Heloise

Heloise, the author of the “Hints for Heloise” column, which appears in more than 500 newspapers worldwide, is also a contributing editor to Good Housekeeping magazine, where she writes a monthly column. Heloise’s mother, the original Heloise, created the “Hints from Heloise” column in the late ’50s, and the current Heloise began helping her mother write the column as a teenager during her summer vacations. She took over the column after her mother’s death in 1977, and has gone on to become the world’s most beloved household adviser. Heloise’s recent book is Get Organized with Heloise (Perigree, 2004). She lives in San Antonio, Tex.
